In his interview with Barbara Walters, Patrick Swayze says a lot of things that break our heart.
But there’s one thing that sort of makes us upset frustrated!
Very little is known about what causes pancreatic cancer, which is known as the “silent killer” because it displays no symptoms until it is too late, but doctors can agree that smoking increases a person’s chances of contracting the cancer.
And Swayze admits in his interview that he is indeed still smoking and doing very little to quit the addiction.
Although he says he’s “seriously cut back,” quitting is “not his priority.”
After a little more prodding, the actor confesses, “I will go so far as to say probably smoking had something to do with my pancreatic cancer.”
So quit then!
You’re not dead yet! Don’t stop fighting to live!
