Anton Hysen, a 20-year-old Swedish soccer player, has come out as gay, making him the first high-profile Swedish player to come out of the closet.
Said Anton:
“I am a footballer. And gay. If I perform as a footballer, then I do not think it matters if I like girls or boys.”
Anton says that he doesn├óΓé¼Γäót care if people are upset about his sexuality — he just wants to play soccer.
