Olympic swimmer Amy Van Dyken severed her spine last week after she crashed into a curb while riding her ATV.
But the 41-year-old athlete is already out of her hospital bed and leaving the ICU! She posted a picture of her amazing progress on Instagram this weekend.
Amy can be seen sitting in her wheelchair for the first time (above)!
She captioned the photo:
“My first transfer to a wheel chair is complete. I was boot scooting all over the halls.├óΓé¼┬¥
We are blown away by her positive attitude!
Keep up the hard work! We’re rooting for you, Amy!
