We wish that earlier on her young career, someone had pulled Lindsay Lohan aside, pointed to a picture of Tara Reid and said, “This could be your future if you don’t wise up.”
Sadly, no one did, and now in 2011, Tara is doing far better for herself than LiLo. Imagine that.
But people don’t forget and when Tara hit a pre-Oscar party last night with her new BF, she was asked what advice she could possibly offer to Lindsay in these precious moments before she’s carted off to prison. She replied:
“It’s really tough. I’ve never gotten in trouble like that. I never got arrested. My biggest crime was dancing on a table. So I can’t really compare the two. I just wish her good luck.”
Hear that? She’s never been arrested. Girl’s booked almost as many hours in Promises as Charlie Sheen and she managed to stay out of enough to trouble to keep from going to prison. Do you know what she’s basically saying here, Lindsay?
She’s saying that she is less of a trainwreck than you. How in the world did you let that happen?
We’re proud of you, Tara, for rising above and putting your life and career back together. Well, what’s left of it anyway. Here’s hoping Lindsay can manage to do the same when she gets back from the slammer.
