Tate McRae is finally addressing her relationship status!
As you may know, earlier this year the pop star was connected to Team USA‘s hockey star Jack Hughes. This relationship news came after her 2025 breakup with her longtime beau The Kid LAROI, so Tater Tots were very interested to learn about her new man — but they’ve kept it under locks!
Tate has been very quiet about her new relationship despite the two of them being spotted together on a few occasions, and it doesn’t look like that’s going to change anytime soon. During an interview with Variety, she was asked if she was still “Nobody’s Girl,” to which she said:
“I… [laughter] that’s private!”

In a different part of the interview, she elaborated on her desire for privacy a bit more, though:
“I try to keep my relationships as sacred and private as possible. I love the people in my life. They love me. You just try to keep that circle as positive and supportive as possible. And the outside noise, I can’t do anything about that. Focusing my energy on something that I can’t control, it just puts me in a bad mood.”
Makes sense! We just hope she’s happy and thriving!
