Amid a contentious custody battle, Taylor Frankie Paul has declined two separate proposals from her baby daddies, Dakota Mortensen and Tate Paul, that would have granted her 40 percent of child custody for her three kids. And now it’s just making her fight harder for what she wants!
A source close to The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star told Page Six on Wednesday that the fathers recently offered separate custody agreements granting Taylor 40 percent of custody while they’d each get 60 percent. The reality star didn’t hesitate and declined them both as she doesn’t believe it’s what’s right for her kids. In fact, she thinks it only proves her point more!

The source detailed her reaction:
“So now I’m suddenly capable of parenting 40% of the time? Couldn’t be more obvious what this is really about — and it isn’t the safety or well-being of our children.”
It is an inneresting reversal amid their abuse allegations! This comes after Tate filed for a temporary restraining order and for sole custody of his kids while Dakota previously received full custody of his son with visitation time to Taylor. So offering TFP 40 percent of custody says a lot about their current thinking.
Taylor now plans to continue to fight for her kids — Ever, who she shares with Dakota, and Indy and Ocean, who she shares with Tate — especially as she thinks her exes are coordinating their legal efforts against her! Because of that, she’s more determined than ever to address these claims in court and “can’t wait to witness them lose.” Oof. If their proposals were supposed to calm the waters, the plan has backfired!
In the meantime, Taylor is focused on her career, including appearing in the upcoming season TSLOMW, and healing:
“She is continuing to get things together. It’s unclear what’s going to happen yet with her season of The Bachelorette, but she has been receiving a lot of support online from other women.”
We just hope for the kids’ sake that this custody battle doesn’t get messier than it already is.
