Taylor Swift's Fans Attack T-Shirt Company For Poking Fun At Their Idol's Love Life!

It’s not easy being a Taylor Swift fan.

Every few months you have to deal with a new defamatory t-shirt about your idol and then gather your energy to launch an offensive against the company.

When will it end?!

Lex Houser and Andi Cross of Bad Kids Clothing recently had the pleasure of experiencing the deafening cyber roar of a million enraged Swifties when they posted a pic of a tank they designed (above) on Instagram printed with the names of Taylor’s exes.

House and Cross originally made the tank for a friend and Swift fan who wore it to a concert, but once Swifties saw the shirt, the deluge of hate mail was crushing!

Not only was the factual accuracy of the shirt questioned — “Taylor Swift has only dated Joe Jonas, John Mayer, Jake Gyllenhaal, Conor Kennedy, and Harry Styles,” one fan wrote — but there were also suicide threats.

One letter read:

“Quite a few Swifties are already considering suicide because they think they are powerless to protect their idol.”

There were also repeated requests for the shirt to be taken down. Another fan wrote:

“So all I have to say is STOP SELLING THE SHIRT. I REPEAT STOP SELLING THE SHIRT. If you do nobody will give you hate and you can go back to you’re clubbing, and getting drunk.”

The original shirt also included Cory Monteith‘s name, which was removed after his tragic passing.

Houser explained:

“We will not be removing the shirt from our store. We will however remove Cory├óΓé¼Γäós name. This shirt is intended to be light hearted and a joke – for those who can understand this type of humor. We will deal with the death threats and incredible slander from here on out, when necessary, with proper authorities as it is never acceptable to threaten anyone├óΓé¼Γäós life. Let’s collectively focus our efforts on things that matter, as we are sure Cory would have wanted that. Along with the one and only, Taylor Swift.”

We’re sure lots of Swifties realize that it’s a joke, and the rest will come around.

There are more important things in life to get mad about, like Chris Pine‘s beard.
