Taylor Swift's Ex Joe Alwyn Was Snubbed From Miss Americana Doc For THIS Reason!

There was a reason you didn’t see Joe Alwyn in Miss Americana despite his relationship with Taylor Swift going strong back then!

Filmmaker Lana Wilson spoke to DailyMail.com and finally revealed why we only saw a teeny tiny glimpse of the British actor in Tay Tay’s 2020 documentary. And she says it’s because adding him felt “disrespectful and weird” to her! She dished she didn’t even MEET Joe until the very end of filming the doc:

“Not really. I didn’t even meet him till the very end, but no, because her relationships have been through the microscope, I didn’t really have any interest in filming that. She’s been through so much, this should be private, like it’s not related to the themes in the film or what I thought she was going through right then.”

Lana said the main reason was because the 34-year-old pop star’s life at the time was changing in a “profound and powerful” way — which didn’t have “anything to do” with Joe:

“I thought she was going through something so profound and powerful, this real change that didn’t really have anything to do with her relationships so it was never something I wanted to film actually. It felt disrespectful and weird to me. It never occurred to me in a strange way.”

Based on how private Taylor and Joe were through the duration of their relationship, it was probably the decision he wanted, anyway! Thoughts, Perezcious readers?
