Taylor Swift is already inspired!
The pop star has long been known to channel her heartbreak into music, and this time is no different. According to new reports from The Sun, the singer was spotted in Liverpool last week filming a new music video. This was just before the world was left shocked to learn she and her boyfriend of six years, Joe Alwyn, called it quits!
Per the insider, the Midnights artist spent 48 hours in the city while filming at St George’s Hall and the Cunard Building — two prominent landmarks where The Batman starring Robert Pattinson was also filmed. Apparently, actress Joey King, who appeared in the music video for Mean a decade ago, was on set and will star in the new video. Cool!

An insider told the outlet on Friday:
“Taylor loves the history of the landmarks and was excited to film somewhere completely different and unexpected. She had a break in her touring schedule so decided to use the time to get another video in the bag. She’s feeling more creative and inspired than ever.”
Now we know why… 
. Unfortunately, not too much has been leaked about the production, the source explained:
“Her shoot was an incredibly slick operation, with little fuss. Staff on site were politely asked not to have their phones on them and to sign non-disclosure agreements.”
On The Kissing Booth star’s involvement, the insider noted:
“Taylor loves a throwback, and is excited to celebrate Joey as her acting career has flourished.”
We love a nostalgic nod, too! And of course it wouldn’t be a Taylor Swift music video without some Easter eggs! Check out Joey’s first cameo (below)!

In the snapshot, it appears as if a young woman is running away from the building while carrying a frame. Perhaps the video will be about a heist?? It hasn’t been confirmed if this was the real set, and right now, there’s no saying what song the video is for either. Considering the breakup news, we’re thinking there’s a good chance Vigilante S**t could be up next?? Or maybe even Getaway Car? It’s the perfect time for a revenge anthem!
As mentioned, news broke on Saturday that the songwriter and actor broke things off after six years together. Per ET, “it was not dramatic.” The duo amicably ended things weeks ago because “the relationship had just run its course.” Bummer! We’re sad to see things didn’t work out for the lovers! Considering they’ve been notoriously private throughout their relationship, we don’t expect to get much confirmation from either star — that is, except in TayTay’s music!
