Taylor Swift is possibly one of the best things ever.
So it was an extra sad day when Taylor decided to pull ALL her music from Spotify!!
It’s all super sad and the digital music world has a hole in its heart but the craziest part of all this is how Taylor had no idea people would care so much! In The Hollywood Reporter’s Rule Breakers 2014 issue, the pop rock queen said:
“I didn’t think that it would be shocking to anyone. With as many ways as artists are personalizing their musical distribution, it didn’t occur to me that this would be anything that anyone would talk about.”
Umm… what?
Basically everyone who’s anyone is on Spotify and Taylor didn’t think she’d be missed??
She continued:
“But I could never have expected so many text messages, emails and phone calls from other artists, writers and producers saying thank you.”
Reallllllly? That many people were glad she pulled her music from Spotify?

Well, we’re glad she’s got support from within the industry but she doesn’t make music for other artists — she makes music for her fans!!

Or… actually, on second thought: just do you, girl! It’s your music! We just feel bad for those without access to your sweet ear jamz.
