Taylor Swift is talking shiz about her ex… and it’s NOT in a song!!
In a recent interview, America’s sweetheart opened up about one ex in particular — the guy who inspired her heartbreaking song, The Last Time — Jake Gyllenhaal.
Alright, Alright! She doesn’t “say his name” right out, BUT Swifty hints at Jake, saying:
“Some combinations of people are toxic, you know? You have to find the right one that isn├óΓé¼Γäót just going to explode into fiery ash and destruction.├óΓé¼┬¥
Hmmm… that sounds a LOT like the relationship she told NPR inspired her to write The Last Time.
During the radio interview, Taylor dished that:
“The idea was based on this experience I had with someone who was kind of this unreliable guy. You never know when he’s going to leave, you never know when he’s going to come back, but he always does come back.
Swifty explains that her inspiration for the song was a situation this “toxic” d-bag put her in tonz of times. She explains:
“My visual for this song is, there├óΓé¼Γäós a guy on his knees sitting on the ground outside of a door. And on the other side of the door is his girlfriend, who he keeps on leaving, and he keeps coming back to her, but then he leaves again. He├óΓé¼Γäós saying, ├óΓé¼╦£This is the last time I├óΓé¼Γäóm going to do this to you.├óΓé¼Γäó And she├óΓé¼Γäós saying, ├óΓé¼╦£This is the last time I├óΓé¼Γäóm asking you this: Don├óΓé¼Γäót do this again.├óΓé¼Γäó And she├óΓé¼Γäós wondering whether to let him in, and he just wants her to give him another chance, but she doesn├óΓé¼Γäót know if he├óΓé¼Γäós going to break her heart again.
