The war has BEGUN!
John Mayer recently spoke about how upset he was over the song Taylor Swift wrote about their 2010 relationship, called Dear John. He went so far as to call it “cheap songwriting” and scolded her for “humiliating” him – and now, it appears that the country cutie isn’t exactly over their falling out, either!
Sources at WeHo’s Tower Bar are reporting that the two had more than a little bit of an awkward confrontation when they ran into each other there on Tuesday night!
A witness explains:
“Taylor very visibly — in front of the entire restaurant — demanded to be moved to the other side. The bar’s usually an oasis of calm and privacy for celebrities and power players, but this was drama central.”
Yeesh!
While we don’t condone making a scene in public, we can imagine that his recent comments must have really poured salt into some old wounds – especially since he attacked her integrity as an artist!
Remember, gurl, the best revenge is a life well-lived!
Don’t even give him the satisfaction of knowing that he got under your skin!
UPDATE: Sources insist that Taylor did NOT cause a scene of any kind. The concede that she was at the restaurant, but her path never crossed Mayer’s and nothing all that dramatic occurred.
