You may have heard singer/songwriter Matt Nathanson‘s music on Scrubs. You may not have heard of him at all.
But Taylor Swift has heard of him. In fact, she’s a big fan, having written his lyrics on her arms in concert on more than one occasion.
But did she write down some of his lyrics in one of her songs??
In a tweet he has since deleted, Matt wrote:
“she’s definitely a fan… and now she’s a thief.”
Whoa! What is he talking about anyway? Well, apparently there is a line in his 2003 song I Saw that goes:
“and i’ll forget about you long enough to forget why i need to”
Sound familiar? Check out this lyric from Taylor’s All Too Well:
“and i forget about you long enough to forget why i needed to”
We’ve gotta be honest, that’s pretty darn close. But Taylor’s fans don’t think so! They’ve been attacking Matt for his tweet ever since! He says:

So is it plagiarism? Accident? Coincidence? What do U think?
