Taylor Swift isn’t sitting at home sulking about her breakup!
In a surprising twist of events, the singer was spotted out and about on Monday night in New York City! Paparazzi caught the Anti-Hero artist leaving Italian hot spot Via Carota in NYC’s West Village, where she dined with her longtime collaborator Jack Antonoff and his fiancée Margaret Qualley. An interesting couple to eat out with considering they’re likely deep in the weeds of wedding planning after getting engaged last year. We wouldn’t think Taylor would want to be with such a loved-up duo right now… unless she’s already over her split from Joe Alwyn!
Judging by the photos, we’d say she is! The 33-year-old looked AH-mazing in a black top and bedazzled jeans as she smiled at fans. Ch-ch-check it out HERE!

She looks so freaking happy! Certainly not what we thought we’d be seeing so soon after she broke up with her boyfriend of six years. Their split was announced on Saturday, though sources said they parted ways a few weeks ago after realizing their personalities didn’t mesh well. It doesn’t seem like a coincidence for Taylor to be stepping out in public so soon after this news went viral!
As Perezcious readers may know, the All Too Well vocalist is notorious for staying out of the public eye when she wants to. She does NOT go around getting randomly photographed — we mean, she managed to disappear from the spotlight for almost an entire year between 2016 to 2017, so she’s a PRO at staying hidden! As natural as this impromptu photo shoot seems, there’s a reason these pics were taken! Girlie wanted everyone to know she’s doing just fine after the breakup!

As you can imagine, Swifties have been freaking out over the new images — but not everyone has the same opinion about what the Miss Americana star is trying to tell us. First off, most fans were thrilled to see the songwriter doing well amid the heartbreaking situation, writing on Twitter:

“I’m so proud of her for being out and about literally days after the news. I hope this is a sign she’s doing good!”

Meanwhile, there’s a second set of fans who believe the Grammy winner was still wearing a “J” necklace from Tiffany & Co., perhaps signaling things with Joe aren’t so finalized. While it was very hard to tell what shape her necklace was in the snapshots, fans theorized:
