Fans have really been enjoying the rumor that Taylor Swift left her New York City apartment without being seen by hiding in a suitcase!
It all started back in May, but resurfaced this week with Splash News, a photo agency, captioning a pic of two men holding a large piece of baggage, stating the singer was being transported “in a huge suitcase from her Tribeca apartment into her truck, in the trunk.” Twitter has been going crazy, wanting to believe she could actually fit into a box!
Considering the 27-year-old has been keeping a low-profile, it wasn’t exactly that far-fetched she might be going to great lengths to escape paparazzi.

Sadly for them, Swift’s team is shutting it down. A rep from Splash revealed to SPIN on Tuesday they’d be retracting the caption after being contacted:
“I literally just put the phone down from someone on Taylor’s camp. We’re having to actually retract that.”
Whomp.
It looks like Swifties can’t be crushed though!
