This is the best kind of squad goals!!
Patrick Stewart and Sir Ian McKellen are on a mission to join Taylor Swift‘s squad — and it looks like they just might’ve made the team, y’all!

A few short weeks ago, Stewart and McKellen made news when they recited Swift’s Blank Space and Bad Blood in videos that went viral, prompting a tweet from Stewart asking about available spaces on Swift’s squad.
He even got a response from Swift on Twitter!
Now, it looks like #SquadGoals is, like, totally gonna be a thing because Stewart just confirmed it when talking to reporters about whether he and McKellen would be seeing her in concert in El Lay later this summer:
“[Taylor]’s coming to town. I think we’re working on that. I mean, she’s invited us into her squad!”
“Invited us into her squad” … SO. CUTE!!
Stewart, who during the last interchange over #SquadGoals had joked about finally being able to wear leather pants if he were in the pop star’s squad, spoke about a potential wardrobe for the concert, too:
“Whatever I wear I’m sure it will be outshone by Sir Ian ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ I can promise you that.”
The most unlikely pairing between these three may just end up being the coolest celeb friendship of the year.
Swift begins a five-concert series in El Lay on August 21.
What do U think — is a Pat Stew/Sir Ian/T-Swift squad completely unbeatable??
