Did Taylor Swift get the “ick” like many of her fans after Travis Kelce’s sex talk this week?
In case you missed it, the football player spilled some bedroom deets on the New Heights podcast’s brand-new spinoff show, Heights Hotline. When a fan shared that he and his wife were experiencing a “dry spell” since she was not “interested in sex whatsoever,” Travis and Jason Kelce offered up some advice. The Kansas City Chiefs player also shared this tidbit! He “can’t relate” because he and Taylor haven’t experienced that! Wow!
Of course, he wasn’t just bragging here! He also tried to give some helpful tips! Travis said:
“Maybe just try to get some candles, get some rose petals, try and be a little romantic. Maybe you just gotta rekindle that flame or something, get that thing going. Take her to a nice restaurant. These are all things that I would try and do just based off what I heard. That’s tough, man.”
He also suggested to “try role play one night” or “get some f**king sex stuff” at Spencer’s if the guy’s wife is down for that. Not Trav out here dropping all his secrets! LOLz!
No word on what the guy thought of their advice! However, loyal Taylor fans were not happy with Travis! Why? They thought his comments were “disgusting” and “disrespectful” to the pop star. Someone even said they got the “the ick FOR her.” Yikes!
But what does Tay think about it? Is she just as upset as the Swifties? It turns out no! She was OK with the remarks! Even her inner circle did not feel he was inappropriate or “creepy!” An insider told Dailymail.com on Friday:
“Taylor doesn’t have a problem with it. Nobody close to Taylor thinks badly of Travis. They are all 100 percent supportive. His comments about his sex life were not said in a creepy way, he was being honest. Travis has a healthy relationship with Taylor. He’s smart enough to not put his foot in his mouth and say or do something stupid to derail that. What he said was appropriate.”
So, Travis won’t end up in the dog house! Phew! In fact, another insider insisted the 35-year-old athlete’s comments are the perfect example of how “romantic” and dedicated he is to his relationship with Taylor:
“Travis’ comments go to show what a romantic guy he truly is and that he goes above and beyond to keep the romance alive and thriving with Taylor. It also goes to show that he is an attentive boyfriend that is willing to do whatever it takes to keep Taylor happy and fulfilled.”
