Taylor Swift has grown up to be quite the mature 24-year-old singer/songwriter!
So when she sat down with Glamour mag for their 75th anniversary issue, Tay Tay was a literal open book!
She dished on her highly anticipated new music, explaining how she’s brand new and her album in the works will reflect that:
“I’m not trying to shed my skin. I’m trying to be a new version of the person I’ve been my whole life. That’s what’s held my fans and me together. For a group of millions, it’s odd how close I feel to them.”
And speaking of closeness—Swifty feels like her fans know everything about her through the music she writes…
So instead of stripping down, which is something most people see as “risky”, Taylor believes starring at your emotions on paper is something far more nerve-racking:
“For me ├óΓé¼┼ôrisky├óΓé¼┬¥ is revealing what really happened in my life through music. Risky is writing confessional songs and telling the true story about a person with enough details so everyone knows who that person is. That├óΓé¼Γäós putting myself out there, maybe even more than taking my shirt off.├óΓé¼┬¥
What a role model!
Her latest foray into music, RED, was a mega-success—so we can’t wait to hear all about her latest loves and personal woes on the new album!
