Taylor Swift Slams Spotify's Six Million Dollar Payout Claims! Her Label Says She Only Made HOW LITTLE From Them Last Year??

Did Taylor Swift make a huge mistake pulling her music catalog from Spotify?
Their CEO Daniel Ek said the Blank Space singer left around $6 million on the table when she left the streaming service.

Sounds like too much dough to say no!
But Taylor is calling BS on those big numbers.
Scott Borchetta, CEO of Taylor’s record label, Big Machine, says Swifty had all her music on Spotify last year and only made a measly $496,044!
OK, that’s a hefty sum too, but nowhere NEAR the six mil Spotify is claiming. And Taylor reportedly made more than that off of her VEVO/YouTube page!
But Spotify’s head of communications Jonathan Prince says Taylor is making significantly more than Big Machine claims. He says:

“We paid Taylor’s label and publisher roughly half a million dollars in the month before she took her catalog down – without even having 1989 on our service – and that was only going to go up.”

Taylor’s label says half a million for a whole YEAR, Spotify says she made that much in a month! Who should we believe?
Well, the question we have is, why would Taylor lie about it? If she really was getting all that money, why would she make such a fuss — or even leave at all?

Meanwhile, Spotify has every reason to fib or fudge the numbers; they have to keep all the other musicians from ditching the service!
Especially considering some are already following Taylor’s lead!
Jason Aldean and more of Taylor’s Big Machine label mates have already started pulling their music from Spotify too!
Sounds like this battle is far from over! We wish we had the cold hard facts and numbers to see who is right once and for all!
