Hopefully Taylor Swift can breathe a little easier today.
She has just been granted a temporary restraining order against her super scary stalker who has been obsessed with her since January 2011.
Timothy Sweet has been ordered to stay 100 yards away from Swifty and three of her family members – her mother, father, and brother – after laying on some majorly creepy behavior.
It was so troublesome, Swifty described it as:
“[S]eriously alarming and harassing and are extremely distressing to me and my family├óΓé¼┬ª [She does] not have desire to interact with or communicate in any way with Mr Sweet.”
Not only has he been sending her emails, letters, and social media posts claiming his love for her, but he’s also sent a number of highly disturbing messages including:
“If anyone in Taylor Swift’s family gets killed, it is not my fault.”
“My wife, Taylor Swift (Sweet) and I live in Beverly Hills. I am in love with her. In conclusion, we treat each other with dignity and respect. I will carry a gun to protect her the rest of my life.”
“Dearest Taylor, I’ll kill any man who gets in the way of our marriage. Message to John Kerry, Secretary of State. Message from YOUR Presidential Candidate.”
He is now not allowed to make any contact with her, including through electronic means, until March 25th.
We sure hope he gets the hint and leaves our country cutie alone.
And if not, we sure hope something is done about it before he has the chance to do anything dangerous!
