Yes, there has been speculation that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce already tied the knot over the past few weeks, but nothing has been confirmed yet! Because of that — and no other concrete evidence emerging — the strongest current theory is that they’re all set for a big wedding at Madison Square Garden THIS WEEKEND. However, a few top wedding vendors’ posts are reviving the rumors that Tayvis are already Mr. and Mrs. due to their latest social media posts!
Wedding designer Rishi Patel — who had been rumored to be working on the ceremony of the century — took to Instagram Stories over the weekend to gush about working on a once-in-a-lifetime event! And he didn’t name names! He only cryptically wrote:
“Today, I asked 23 of my colleagues if when they started in the event industry (span of 7 to 45 years) … they would have ever dreamed or imagined they would be part of what we created today … Unanimously the answer was no. That, in itself, means more than I can ever explain. I can’t wait to share what we created. But for now, I’m just eternally grateful for those who mean more to me than I could ever explain.”

Could Rishi be talking about Taylor and Travis’ wedding? Naturally, people are assuming so! What else is as big as this wedding at the moment? A source for Page Six even commented after the post that “Rishi’s so high level and works with huge clients all the time, so for this to be such a huge deal … it’s all so Taylor coded.” They’re not wrong! And why keep it such a secret what event he designed? Unless he’s required to for the time being because his clients are so high-profile, like Taylor and Travis!
And Rishi wasn’t the only wedding vendor being cryptic online about the same event! Samantha Roberts, who owns a social media agency known for its “strategic orchestration of wedding release rollouts, creating digital moments that ripple across the internet,” wrote on the ‘gram:
“Tonight was a career highlight. 15 years ago I came to New York because I loved events. I dreamed that one day I’d work events like the one I did tonight.”
Samantha also tagged celebrity wedding planner Marcy Blum. Here’s the thing, though. As far as we know, Marcy is NOT planning Taylor and Travis’ nuptials. That honor went to Mark Seed, who many of the pop star’s famous pals have used in the past for their weddings. So this theory that the pair got married over the weekend? It seems unlikely based on that alone! Plus, we have confirmation the event Samantha and Rishi are so proud of had nothing to do with Taylor and Travis!
And if they did, we know they probably wouldn’t be allowed to post anything like that before Taylor revealed the news herself…
Even Marcy herself told Page Six the bash wasn’t for them! Instead, she said it was “a fabulous summer party for my favorite client” — the New York Knicks! The only group that could rival Taylor and Travis’ wedding after winning the NBA Finals! LOLz! The event planner added:
“We were working with our often and favorite collaborating crew. Rishi for design. Olivier Cheng catering. Allan Zepeda photos. And there was a lot of celebrity talent: Jerry Seinfeld, Knicks, Rockettes and Chris Martin.”
But Marcy doesn’t blame anyone for thinking they did the wedding! She admitted the wedding crew and “lots of security made it look Taylor. But, alas, no it wasn’t.” She then posted a video of the lavish party for the NBA champs as proof! Check it out (below):
