There is movement at Madison Square Garden days before the rumored wedding of the century, and we are getting a big clue about what Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce possibly have up their sleeve for the big day! And hint: it involves one of her beloved songs!
As you likely know, the couple is said to be tying the knot over the Fourth of July weekend. The rumors are that Taylor and Travis are saying “I do” in an intimate ceremony on July 2 and hosting a fan event the next day at MSG — or that it’s the rehearsal. Either way, something is seemingly going down at the iconic Midtown Manhattan venue later this week for the pair! The proof so far is that crews are lugging in equipment and decor for an unknown event, including a nod to the pop star’s Folklore album!

According to Page Six, several vendors were seen setting up for a massive function at Madison Square Garden on Monday, such as a lighting company, a piping and draping business, a transportation service company, and several unmarked trucks. Staff members were unloading large items wrapped in tarps from parked semi-trailer trucks, and forklifts were moving trunks filled with unknown inventory. Well, mostly unknown!
Page Six obtained pictures of a box labeled “40-inch mirror ball” being dragged into the arena. You know, as in a reference to her track Mirrorball from her 2020 Grammy-winning album! Take a listen (below):
Taylor loves giving fans easter eggs! So if the future newlyweds are actually having a post-wedding event for Swifties at MSG, we aren’t surprised there’s a mirror ball! Last year, she picked her top five favorite songs from her extensive discography on The Tonight Show With Stephen Colbert, which included Mirrorball:
“This is so much pressure. It’s constantly changing, but I will say, I think number one is All Too Well (10 Minute Version). I’m really obsessed with The Life of a Showgirl right now, the whole album, so I can’t really do any of the others. I will say somewhere in this list I think is going to be a song called Mirrorball from the folklore album.”
Was Tay Tay trying to hint to us her plans even back then?
Page Six also reported that some vendors attempted to keep things under wraps, even concealing their business names, logos, and phone numbers with tape. However, they weren’t able to hide everything! Clearly! Also seen being taken into MSG were spotlights, chairs, and concert staging. “No Parking” signs surrounded the property with the project “INT performance at MSG” from June 20 to July 4. And don’t expect the workers to spill the beans about the top secret event! They have no clue what’s going on, supposedly! Several told Page Six they weren’t told about the identities of the clients they’re setting up for. One specifically said:
“We aren’t told anything. Everything is so tight-lipped.”
This definitely sounds like a Tayvis event! OMG!
