Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce may really be getting married at MSG — just not on the night everyone thinks!
As we’ve been following, Tayvis is rumored to be having some kind of large wedding celebration at the iconic music venue on July 3. Someone’s already applied for a permit, requesting that the streets in the area be closed down during the Fourth of July weekend. It’s a big deal! Whoever is having the event is going out of their way to maintain privacy!
But many have speculated that July 3 isn’t the actual wedding date for the singer and athlete. Sources have long believed that the pair will tie the knot in a much smaller ceremony before a big party — hence all the wedding rumors in Rhode Island last weekend!

Well, now we know when that might be happening!
According to TMZ and the New York Times on Thursday, Taylor and Travis are set to host a gathering on July 2 at Madison Square Garden with about 100 guests. It’s unclear what exactly is happening, but given the smaller guest list the day before a larger party, it sure sounds like it could be the actual ceremony! Or, perhaps, it’s a welcome party for close friends and family traveling into the area for the big day, a rehearsal dinner perhaps? Both seem possible!
Time will tell. There are only a few more days until we find out if any of this wedding chatter was real!
