Taylor Swift is loving life as Mrs. Kelce!
Last month, the pop star tied the knot with Travis Kelce during an intimate but lavish wedding ceremony at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The couple has been keeping a low profile since they said I do, breaking out of their newlywed bubble to attend the wedding of his former Kansas City Chiefs teammate in California. Their first public appearance as husband and wife!

Other than that event, they’ve been pretty much radio silent! We haven’t even seen pictures from their nuptials, including of Tay Tay’s dress! And who knows if we ever will! However, we are now learning what life has been like for them post-wedding, all thanks to the Opalite singer spilling the tea to her friend, another musician, last week! And don’t worry! Taylor and Travis’ honeymoon phase isn’t already over! A source told DailyMail.com on Monday:
“Taylor said she was happier than ever now that she is Mrs Kelce and says their married life has been blissful so far. She is a blissed-out wife who is focusing on the simple things in life.”

According to the insider, Taylor has been spending her days in the kitchen or with their beloved pets, including her three cats, Meredith Grey, Olivia Benson, and Benjamin Button, and his new dog, who is rumored to be named Wendy:
“She has been spending her days lazing about as she cooks dinner and bakes bread for her new husband — she has become quite the chef and is trying a lot of Italian dishes and learning Italian at the same time, little bits, and drinking white wine. She has also been with her cats and Travis’ dog, they love their fur children, and are nesting with them. She said they all get along because they got the dog as a tiny puppy and the cats took to the dog, so no fights.”
Phew! It’s good to hear that everyone is getting along! The two are also working out and hitting the green together during their spare time:
“She and Travis work out every day, they know their careers demand that they are in top shape, so they work out together. They were mixing it up with power walks, swimming and weight lifting. Travis has been playing golf, and teaching his wife a thing or two. He loves the game.”
The insider added that Taylor also took a moment to write and send thank you notes to her guests:
“She hand-wrote thank you cards to the wedding guests who gave her and Travis gifts. It was a sweet, old-fashioned gesture.”
With training camp underway for Travis’ 14th season in the NFL, the newlyweds have also been working on making his home in Kansas City into their marital home. Yes, they don’t plan on spending time apart during the season! Another source said:
“They don’t want it to feel like it’s Travis’s house that Taylor moved into. They want a place that’s theirs from day one. This is their fresh start. They’re not building Taylor’s life or Travis’s life anymore. They’re building one life — together. They’ve done the long-distance thing, and it was hard. Now they’re married, Taylor’s going to be where Travis is. That’s home.”
It helps that Taylor can work from practically anywhere! The insider continued:
“She’s not tied to New York or LA. They want to wake up together, have dinner together and build a real home — not just squeeze in visits between schedules.”
That said, Taylor and Travis are looking for another property! The first source revealed they’ve been taking a peek at listings online and “think Montecito might be a nice place to settle down.” You know, the California town where celebrities like Oprah Winfrey and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle live! The Sussexes could be their neighbors one day! The insider added:
“They love how private it is and secluded.”
And, of course, they’ll still have Taylor’s other properties. A different insider shared that the two will keep her place in New York City — but Travis really wants a residence close to Hollywood so he can pursue more acting and hosting gigs once he retires from football:
“Travis loves being on camera, he likes performing, so that is the goal, to work on screen.”
For now, however, he is all in on the sport! Meanwhile, Taylor is working on new music! Exciting! The first source said she’s been talking with her besties the Haim sisters and Carly Simon, who has been sadly diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease and skin cancer:
“Taylor has been creating new music, she said she is very inspired these days thanks to her husband, and is writing love songs for a new album and tour. She has been bouncing ideas off the Haim sisters. She also talked to her friend Carly Simon about making some music together. Taylor called Carly after she heard about her Parkinson’s disease diagnosis and told her she would support her and would love to work together. She also sent Carly flowers, a huge bouquet. It was very sweet.”
How sweet. We’re sure that put a smile on Carly’s face during such a difficult time.
Overall, Taylor is just loving life. The source noted the Evermore artist “said she loves calling Travis ‘my husband’ or ‘my hubby,'” adding:
“She shared it is much better than saying ‘fiancée’ or ‘boyfriend.’ She was giddy when talking about it. She said she melts when Travis introduces her as ‘my wife.'”
Gosh, even we are getting giddy over this! It’s so cute!
