Ever since tying the knot with Travis Kelce, everything seems to be going the singer’s way! All in about one week, she’s reached a historic career achievement, been praised by her new hubby, and silenced a controversial politician!

For the first time ever, Travis Kelce gushed about his “wife” in public!
While speaking to the media on August 12, Travis gushed about his “fun off-season,” saying in a press conference:
“Wedding was the best night of my life, and I appreciate everybody who came out and celebrated and had fun with us.”
He called it “a crazy night” that was “full of a lot of celebration.”
He added:
“So it’s kind of cool to be able to live out my childhood dream of being in that venue, the Mecca of all sports venues, being able to get married in there. I can’t thank the owners of MSG [enough] for allowing us to get the opportunity to do that, knowing we wanted a private event. And the AC was cooking. That was the best part.”

He also said he was “stuck in mini camp” and missed the chance to join “my wife” at Game 4 of the NBA Finals when “the Knicks were rocking” at the venue. Hear it all, with the Taylor stuff happening at about 12:41 minutes in:
This is a dream come true for Taylor! It was announced that Taylor will be inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame this fall, becoming the youngest writer ever to receive the honor at 36. Incredible! The songwriter said in a statement:
“From the time I started writing songs as a child, I fixated on Nashville as the perfect place to be. I wanted to learn with and from the best and get to immerse myself in a community of storytellers, and thankfully Nashville turned out to be exactly what I’d dreamed of. A town that validated and prioritized hard work, determination and imagination. Where the writers show up to work every day even when the mysterious muses and the magic don’t. To be honored by this city I love so much is a beautiful thing, and I’m very grateful.”
Donald Trump used Taylor Swift’s music one too many times!
It’s been a favorite tactic of the President’s to use pop stars’ songs in his controversial social media posts, which usually results in the stars making public comments and drawing more attention to the problematic posts. Taylor took a different strategy!
She’s quietly removed all her music from Trump’s TikTok posts! One post featured her song August, but has now been switched to play a song singing:
“I love Trump, I love Trump, Make America Great Again”
In others, like one using Father Figure, the video is silent, with a note:
“This sound isn’t available”
It’s unclear if Taylor threatened any kind of legal action or made a statement behind the scenes to the Trump-related accounts using her audio. Whatever she did, it worked!
Nothing better than a summer chop! Taylor stepped out on a girls’ night out in London on August 12. Not only was it her first public sighting since marrying Travis, but it caused a stir as she debuted a fresh new hairstyle. She was photographed leaving Annabel’s, a private, members-only club, in a floral purple minidress. See:

The Grammy winner truly looked stunning in a navy blue dress with gold floral designs and her shorter hairdo. She also showed off her dazzling engagement ring and wedding band! Look:

It’s been over a month since Taylor and Travis tied the knot, and by all accounts, it sounds like they’re loving this new chapter of life! A source told People that the newlyweds “feel really grateful” as they settling into married life. The sources said on Friday:
“They’re both just so excited that they’re husband and wife now. … Their relationship feels even more special.”
The confidant added:
“They’re both always working, creating or thinking about what comes next. And they love living like this. They both feel really grateful for everything they have. They’re very happy.”
