It’s no secret Barack Obama has had a number of celebs over to the White House over the past 7 years — it’s one of the best perks of the Presidency!
So in his CNN town hall, GOP candidate and roundly disliked person Ted Cruz was asked the first person he would have over for dinner if he were to win.

But Cruz — whose whole family was in attendance at the Q&A — let his daughters wish upon the first star. Ted’s wife Heidi Cruz revealed:
“The girls would love to have their first guest be Taylor Swift.”

This is purely in the realm of the hypothetical, as Ted would first have to beat frontrunner Donald Trump, THEN beat probably Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton — both of which seem like a stretch at this point.
