Edwin Arroyave has an update on Teddi Mellencamp’s recovery.
The reality TV alum shocked fans last week when she revealed doctors found “multiple” tumors growing on her brain. And in the same post, she revealed she was going in for surgery to have two of them removed before dealing with the rest via radiation therapy. She had to shave her head and everything! But luckily her friends and family were by her side every step of the way — including her estranged husband. And he’s shared a bittersweet update!

On Thursday, the 47-year-old took to his Instagram Story to inform followers that Teddi’s surgery “went well.” He wrote:
“So many people asking for updates. All I will say right now is surgery went well. That said, I’ve never seen @teddimellencmap in so much pain. She’s finally getting some needed rest. Know she is so grateful for the outpouring of love.”

Ugh, poor woman. We can only imagine the pain she’s experiencing amid such a scary diagnosis… Both physically and mentally! We’re so glad the surgery went well but we feel for her deeply.
Four days later, Edwin returned to the photo sharing app to give fans another update on the mom of three’s road to recovery. While thanking everyone for the “prayers and well wishes” on Monday, he wrote:
“Our family is thankful to everybody for your continued prayers and well wishes. Teddi is beyond grateful for the outpouring of love while she continues to recover.”

We’re so glad to hear she’s in recovery. Such an incredibly scary time, but she’s been blessed with so much love and an incredible medical team!
Edwin also shared a selfie on his IG Story with daughters Slate, 12, and Bella, 14, whom he welcomed in a previous relationship. He wrote:
“On our way to visit mom”
