So scary!!!
An 18-year-old teenager from Montreal suffered a huge scare when she tried to kiss a lion on the job.
Lauren Fagen was volunteering at the Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Center and was cleaning out a lion’s cage when she tried to kiss the fur of the lion. The lion then reached out and dragged her feet and her legs into his cage.
Here’s what the teenager said:
“I didn’t realize he could stick his paws through. I should have died or lost a leg. It was a miracle that I survived. He could have ripped off my skin and I would have died of blood loss.”
The 18-year-old was saved by her fellow volunteers who beat back the lion with brooms.
We’re so glad her co-workers were there to save her, and this teenaged girl survived without any serious injuries!
Definitely a scary moment for her!
