This poor, poor young boy…
Last month, Laura Caron, a New Jersey fifth grade teacher, was accused of sexually assaulting a former student over a four-year time frame. According to an investigation, she initiated a sexual relationship in 2016 with a then-11-year-old boy at Middle Township Elementary School where she taught. When she was a full-grown 28-year-old at the time!!! That’s INSANE.
According to an affidavit obtained by NBC10, investigators claim the young boy and his two siblings were living with Caron at the time (after his family became friendly with her and his parents trusted her to look after the kids), and he’d frequently wake up in her bed. The sexual assault continued on for four years through 2020 when the child was 14 to 15 years old. After that, things went quiet for another four years… Until the boy’s father raised an alarming concern on Facebook.

In December, the victim’s father claimed on the social media app that Caron’s 5-year-old child looked strikingly similar to his own son, now 19. After that, the teen allegedly admitted via text and phone call to his family members that the 5-year-old IS his.

The Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office officially charged Caron with aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault, and endangering the welfare of a child, and arrested her earlier this month. The now-34-year-old is currently fighting the charges, and her teen victim has a message…
Speaking with DailyMail.com on Tuesday, the boy revealed he did, in fact, impregnate Caron when he was 13 years old and insisted it was him who initiated the relationship — not the other way around. He told the outlet:
“They need to drop all charges. I wasn’t groomed or raped or manipulated by her. She never initiated anything. I started everything. If it was up to me she wouldn’t have been in jail. It’s been six or seven years. I’m 19 about to be 20.”
The teen also denied claims their sexual relationship started at 11 — like 13 is much better. Either way, he was a CHILD. Even now, he’s barely an adult! He also noted he’s not allowed to be in contact with the child and that Caron has been ordered to forfeit communication with him:
“I can’t talk to them. I wish I could but I can’t and it sucks.”
He went on to blame his father for her arrest:
“All of this started with a Facebook post from my father. I didn’t want her violated like that. The world has no idea what she has done for my family. I love her with all my heart. She was there for me and my family.”
Ugh. This poor brainwashed boy. It breaks our heart that one of the adults he was supposed to be able to trust most — his teacher — took advantage of him in such a depraved way. And he thinks HE’S responsible for it… Despite HER being the adult!
If Caron is convicted, she could face up to 10 to 20 years in prison. We really hope the law comes through on this one and the teen boy gets some trauma therapy…
