Teenagers do some crazy things, but this teen is doing one of the craziest things we’ve ever seen.
17-year-old Felicia Frisco sleeps with a Bengal tiger in her bed!
That’s crazzzzy!
The 100-pound tiger named Will sleeps with the girl in her bed every night where he will stay until he turns a year old at which point he’ll be paced in the the family’s wildlife shows that educate the public about the plight of the tiger.
What do people think of this teenager sleeping with a wild beast?
While calmly petting the animal, Felicia tells cameras:
“My friends think it’s cool that I have a pet tiger since most of them only have a cat or a dog.”
Although terrified at the thought of sleeping with a man-eating killing machine, we have to admit, it is pretty cool.
Our fears aren’t irrational though!
Veteran animal trainer Jack Hanna thinks a dog is a much better suited sleeping partner than a tiger, warning:
“Every cat has a different killing ability. The tiger? It makes no difference. It can go and it’s a bomb going off whenever it hits…a wild animal, usually, can most of the time be trained, but never tamed.”
Scary! We hope Will keeps his cool while sleeping with Felicia!
Fortunately, the Frisco’s have been training exotic animals for generations, so it looks like Will and Felicia are in good hands, however, famous examples in history have proven Hanna’s point.
Remember when Roy Horn, half of the magic duo Siegfried and Roy, was almost mauled to death by a white tiger he raised from a cub?
Like we said…sleeping with a tiger…is terrifying.
We hope that Will continues to be a loving companion for Felicia Frisco and history does not repeat itself for this young animal trainer!
