no title
The world lost one of its most beautiful voices today.
Dennis Edwards, former lead singer of Motown legends The Temptations, passed away in Chicago at the age of 74 on Friday, just one day before his 75th birthday.
His family confirmed his passing to CBS News but did not disclose a cause of death.

As a solo artist, Dennis hit #2 on the R&B charts with Don’t Look Any Further, but he is best know for his work with The Temptations.
Dennis was not one of the five founding members, but he sang lead for the quintet during the crucial period from 1968 to 1977 and sang on hits I Can’t Get Next to You, Ball of Confusion, and Papa Was a Rollin’ Stone. He returned to the group from 1980-84 and 87-89.
