We’re not too surprised to hear this.
Considering how difficult it must be to be facing a jail sentence, any marriage would suffer when both parties are in that situation.
So we’re sure Real Housewives of New Jersey fans have been expecting to hear Teresa and Joe Giudice‘s marriage is struggling.

Both are set to do jail time for their fraud convictions, with Tre going in at the beginning of next year for 15 months, while Joe will head in after her for 41 months.
Even though they have a little more time together before this all starts, it seems they aren’t making the most of it. Instead, they seem to be falling apart as a source commented:
“Teresa and Joe’s emotional connection is fading. Resentment is creeping in. There is an icy distance.”
With four daughters together, we hate to hear that but aren’t surprised considering all the stress they’re under.
Plus, with Tre hoping Juicy Joe can get it together and take care of the girls while she’s away first, we imagine there have been a number of issues.
We hear he hasn’t been interested in helping out, but don’t yet expect a divorce because of this as the source added:
“Splitting up would cause the kids turmoil. She wouldn’t bring them more harm.”
Well, we guess these two will be sticking it out while they serve their time.
But who knows what will happen once they’re both released.
