Terry Richardson Responds To Magazine Ban Against Him Due To Sexual Assault Allegations

Terry Richardson is out!
Terry Richardson
is “disappointed” following reports he’s been banned from some of the major magazines!
As we previously reported, Condé Nast International, which owns Vanity Fair, GQ, and Vogue, has cut ties with the controversial photographer amid the Harvey Weinstein sexual harassment and assault scandal.
The 52-year-old has been accused of sexual assault over the years, most recently in 2014 when a few models shared their allegations against him.

Now, a rep for him has told E! News in response to the blacklisting:

“Terry is disappointed to hear about this email especially because he has previously addressed these old stories. He is an artist who has been known for his sexually explicit work so many of his professional interactions with subjects were sexual and explicit in nature but all of the subjects of his work participated consensually.”

In case you haven’t been keeping up with the dad-of-two, he has issued similar statements in the past, previously saying:

“I collaborated with consenting adult women who were fully aware of the nature of the work, and as is typical with any project, everyone signed releases… I have never used an offer of work or a threat of rebuke to coerce someone into something that they did not want to do. I give everyone that I work with enough respect to view them as having ownership of their free will and making their decisions accordingly.”

“Uncle Terry” might want to take a deeper look if these major magazines don’t even want to be associated with him!
Who knows if more publications will follow Cond├â┬⌐ Nast’s lead, right??
