We made a painting for The Artist Who Painted a Blue Horse Charity Auction!
The auction supports arts education in elementary schools across the country, so artists and celebs made some artwork inspired by Eric Carle’s newest book, The Artist Who Painted A Blue Horse.
It’s easy to participate in the charity auction, just follow these three easy steps:
1. Find a painting you like.
2. Bid on it.
3. The NEA Foundation shall receive all proceeds of the Auction and shall distribute 100% of such proceeds solely and exclusively to support the Initiative, including without limitation the Foundation’s Grants to Educators program.
Making sure elementary schools have decent art programs is important because it teaches kids self-expression, creative freedom, and├óΓé¼┬ª it’s fun!
