Plot twist!
In the new issue of Us Weekly, The Bachelor stars Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham announced they are expecting their first child together amid wedding planning!

In case you forgot, controversy initially swirled around this couple as Lauren was actually the runner up during Arie’s season. He eventually dumped Becca Kufrin, and realized he made a mistake in not choosing Lauren. Ahhh reality TV love!
Anyway, Lauren, 26, had a sense she was pregnant, explaining to the mag:
“I kind of had a feeling that I might be pregnant. So my friend insisted on bringing a pregnancy test over. Arie came out with the test in his hand and tears in his eyes. He was like, ‘You’re pregnant!’”
Fiance Arie, 37, chimed in, sharing:
“Lauren took all of them and they were all positive. We weren’t trying, but we are so excited. It’s going to be a whole new chapter in our lives.”
Apparently last month was miserable for the reality TV starlet, but she is feeling better:
“October was miserable. I had really bad morning sickness and barely left the house. But over the last week I’ve started feeling a lot better, so it’s nice to have my energy back. When I wasn’t feeling that great, I was trying to go on a lot of walks. But now I do cycling a few times a week!”

The duo are still set to wed in Hawaii January 2019, and Lauren is working on the perfect dress to accommodate her growing belly.
