Upcoming Bachelorette Contestant Under Fire For 'Transphobic' Comment On ABC's Website

Already tons of drama for The Bachelorette, and the season hasn’t even aired yet!
As you know, ABC released Rachel Lindsay‘s lineup of suitors this week — and one guy in particular is being slammed for a comment that has been labeled “transphobic” and has since been removed from the show’s site.

On his questionnaire, Bryce Powers — the 30-year-old firefighter who admited to catching a girl’s hair on fire once during sex — said his “biggest date fear” was:

“The chick is actually a dude.”

Obviously, the Internet was not here for the contestant’s shitty comment, and we’ve rounded up some of the best responses for you (below)!

So far, no word from ABC but they have removed the question entirely. They still have Bryce comparing himself to Matthew McConaughey, though.
