ICYMI Monday night, The Bachelorette went and did hometown dates, and if you thought Becca Kufrin‘s choices were tough heading into this week (down to Garrett, Blake, Jason, and Colton), ooooooh boy, it only gets tougher from here!

But before we head to fantasy suites next week, we had to drop one person from the conversation in last night’s episode.
And that person was… …somebody we’ll reveal further down in the post. You didn’t think we were just going to go and give it up so easy, did you?!
LOLz!!
Let’s start with the dates themselves…
First up came Garrett, who took Becca home to his farm in central California. The pair had a nice time planting tomatoes, and a REALLY nice time with Garrett’s fun-loving family. Easy to see Becca sliding her way in with that crew — no huge dramas around there!
Plus, Becca can’t stop saying how Garrett reminds her of her late father. That’s… that’s a good thing, right?

Next up, we went allllll the way up to Buffalo, NY for Jason, where Becca met his parents, his brother, and his brother’s husband. With only three gay couples ever featured on the show, this was actually awesome, and revealed a sensitive, thoughtful side of Jason we didn’t know existed!
Becca ate a shit load of chicken wings (nobody uses ranch dressing in Buffalo?), Jason kind of taught her how to ice skate, and the parents there were more or less normal, as well.
Then, Becca flew to Colorado for the final two hometown dates — first Blake, then Colton.
Blake is a mountain boy, and he took Becca to his small-town high school, where he revealed there’d been a school shooting when he was a senior, his sister was a freshman, and his mom was working at the school.
Kind of a strange date thing to reveal of all the choices you can make on a hometown date, but as we learn later from Blake’s dad, the shooting apparently really affected B even more so than some awful past relationships.
Side note: isn’t it always a bad sign when you take your prospective partner back to your high school? Like, dude, you’re 30 now. High school’s been over. We get it, maybe you don’t live at home anymore and so you don’t know where else to go, but couldn’t y’all, like, just go skiing or something?

Anyways, Blake’s fam was fine, and his mom turned out to be a hilarious bad-ass, so score one in the win column for him there. Becca also mentioned how she thinks she’s in love with Blake, and just hasn’t told him yet, so, like, COME ON THAT’S HUGE!!!!
After Blake, it was Colton, who took Becca to the children’s hospital before bringing her home to meet mom and dad.
The topic of his virginity was ALL OVER the freakin’ place, and both mom and dad kind of not-so-subtly warned Becca that, like, you better not break this poor virgin boy’s heart.
So…. yeah.
The real drama came after the hometown dates, though. Becca got together with a bunch of her Bachelorette fam girlfriends (like Bekah M., and others), and one in the group — Tia — up and revealed how she STILL has feelings for Colton, and it’s been killing her to see Becca take him this far in the show.
Girl, WTF!? Didn’t we cross this bridge like six episodes ago when you gave your fuckin’ BLESSING to Becca to keep Colton around?!
The heart wants what it wants, we get it, but maybe Tia should’ve just brought this up a while ago — because by telling Becca now, she put the poor girl in an awful position.

Becca sits alone and thinks for a while (apparently her M.O. with Colton issues!) and ultimately decides, at that night’s rose ceremony, that Colton had to be the one to go.
Like a champ, Becca never mentions Tia when she brings Colton down (you owe her BIG time, Tia), but Colton is nevertheless crushed.
Another opportunity to lose his virginity, thwarted.
Now, it’s on to Thailand fantasy suite dates!!! What do y’all think will end up happening next week on The Bachelorette?!
