Disney & Steven Spielberg Suffered A Rare Box Office Bomb With The BFG -- But THESE Films Were The Biggest Flops Of All Time!

Talk about a BIG bomb!
Disney has had hit after hit in 2016, from Zootopia to Captain America: Civil War. Sadly for Steven Spielberg, The BFG ends that hot streak, as the Amblin Entertainment co-production flopped HARD during its debut over the holiday weekend!
The flick, adapted from Roald Dahl‘s classic children’s book, had a budget of around $140 million but ended up only taking in $18.6 million over the three-day Fourth of July weekend and an atrocious $22.3 million total over the four-day holiday period!
While it’s only been a few days, there’s no doubt that Spielberg’s movie is DEFINITELY a huge bomb — but the good news is, it’s not NEARLY as bad as some of the biggest flops EVER…
