Surprise! Surprise!
According to state and federal records, The Brittany Murphy Foundation is not technically a charity.
Although it has been touted as a nonprofit organization dedicated to arts education for kiddies, the “foundation” is not registered as a charity with the IRS or the state of California, which is required by law.
And it’s also supposed to disclose that it is not registered as a nonprofit considering they’re soliciting $$$$$ on their website!
Once again, Simon Monjack is super sketch!
