This is unexpected, as we were definitely getting vibes in the other direction!
According to a source, it looks like a lot of the staff on Community is backing Chevy Chase instead of creator Dan Harmon as their feud has gone extra public!
Here’s what that source had to say:
“What Dan Harmon did was f**ked up … Chevy is a pleasure to work with.”
Apparently, Chevy RESPECTFULLY declined to film the scene after respectfully asking for a rewrite! He was calm and polite the whole time, and despite that they told him no. So he quietly left the set without incident.
The source then added:
“What Dan did was embarassing and left a sour taste in all of our mouths … so low class. The staff was not pissed at Chevy … we’re pissed at Dan. We all hope Chevy comes back next season.”
Wow! No word on what the rest of the cast thinks.
Well, either way: how about we all act like adults so one of the best shows on television isn’t marred by immaturity and can STAY on the air??
