Can’t win em all, Mr. Leno!
For the second quarter of 2011, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart has beat out Jay Leno’s The Tonight Show in the 18-49 demographic.
This marks the first time in TEN YEARS that The Tonight Show hasn’t had the top ratings in the demo for ages 18-49. Wow!
It was a tight battle though, as Jon’s show averaged 1.295 mil viewers in 18-49 demo, and Jay averaged 1.292 mil in the same demo.
Guess we’ll see if Jon is able to maintain his #1 spot with 18-49 year olds…or if this was just a one-time deal.
