Sorry! No Event For SyFy!

Sucks for them!

Despite reports circulating that the canceled NBC series The Event would be potentially picked up by SyFy and continued as a mini-series, the network’s executive Craig Engler took to Twitter to announce that this was not true!

He wrote:

“To answer some questions I’ve been getting, at this time we have no plans to pick up The Event.”

Well, that’s that, we guess!

Perhaps there’s still a chance for it on another network?

Eh. Probably not!

Time to let it go, guys, and say your goodbyes once and for all!
