We wish we could say this came directly from Jared Lee Loughner himself, but alas, we think he’s not feeling the slightest bit of remorse right now.
Yesterday, Jared’s family released a statement regarding Saturday’s brutal shooting in Tucson, Arizona. They offered their apologies to the families who had lost loved ones and more so, make so excuses for Jared’s actions. The statement reads:
“There are no words that can possibly express how we feel. We wish that there were so we could make you feel better. We don’t understand why this happened. It may not make any difference but we wish that we could change the heinous events of Saturday. We care very deeply about the victims and their families we are so very sorry for their loss.”
It must be hard on them too. In a way, they’ve lost a loved one as well. It just goes to show that Jared really wasn’t thinking of anyone else, not even his own family, when he decided to become a monster and kill innocent people.
So sad.
