Keeping with the ongoing slump in awards show viewership, the 66th Annual Golden Globes averaged just 14.6 million viewers with a 4.8 rating.
That’s a 26% decrease in viewers from 2 years ago. If you recall, last year’s Golden Globes were reduced to a brief conference an account of the strike.
Desperate Housewives – which was significantly overlooked by the Globes – swept in to outdo the awards show by getting more viewers in the 9:00pm hour.
