A loooong wait, but maybe worth it for you diehard fans, if you want it done right.
Though it was long hoped that the flick would receive a late 2011 release date, Warner Bros. Pictures announced that the next flick in the Lord Of The Rings franchise, The Hobbit, won’t be released until December 2013.
The push back may come as a disappointment to fans, but it wasn’t a surprise to director Peter Jackson, who just last week revealed that while both scripts for the two-part adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien’s, there has been no talk of shooting schedules or no actors have been approached for casting, even the ones returning to the franchise from the previous movies.
Since you fans have time to kill, maybe you should go back and watch the originally trilogy. By the time you are done with that, it’ll be 2011 and you’ll be one year closer!
