So, the incredible album 21 was based on heartbreak, as we all know.
But what we didn’t know was who broke Adele‘s beautiful heart… until now.
His name is Alex Sturrock, and he was both Adele’s photographer — and the love of her life!
He’s 31-years-old and supposedly dated her between then summer of 2008 and April 2009. The problem is, he didn’t want a label.
Here’s what one of his friends said:
“It was an intense period for them. They met through mutual friends and hit it off straight away. He shot her a few times and that was just it. They spent all their time together – and when they weren’t together they would ring each other constantly.”
She hired him for the tour after they became inseparable, rooming together, and him ending up living in her place.
The friend continued:
“He’s a very normal guy and they’d laugh a lot together, eat junk food and ignore the fact that her career was about to go stratospheric. Adele relied on him a lot, he was her best mate as well as her boyfriend and he was very protective of her. He’d say no one knew her like he did. Adele was pretty hurt by that, but Alex didn’t want to label what they had.’
It totally fits what Adele said happened, too:
├óΓé¼┼ôI expected too much. I was needy, I was jealous even though I├óΓé¼Γäóm not a jealous person. I was feeling pretty miserable and pretty lonely. I was on my knees really. We├óΓé¼Γäóre becoming friends again. It├óΓé¼Γäós alright. I know what I’m doing. Enough time has gone by.├óΓé¼┬¥
That’s fab, just don’t get caught up in it again!
We wonder if he felt terrible or what after the album came out… he had to have been feeling a little vulnerable at least!
