For those of you who still care about the craptastic super-powered TV show, we have some hope for you.
Insiders at NBC are predicting three likely scenarios for Heroes. First is the least likley- a reorder of 13 episodes midseason next year. We wouldn’t hold our breath on that one.
Second, NBC could cancel the show all together, leaving the fans and the actors without any closure at all. (Pulls at your heart strings a little, huh Team CoCo?)
But what is most likely to happen is that NBC will order a small cluster of episodes (2,4, or 6) and turn it into a mini-series event, something that could last over two nights or so.
Though the show got piss poor ratings in the last few years, NBC can’t deny that it is a profitable franchise, with sales and ratings soaring overseas and even DVD sales being high domestically. Therefore, there is a good chance NBC will give the show the ending it deserves, if for no other reason than to cash in on it.
