Oh no! We hope nothing serious is going on. Gurl missed the freakin’ Oscars so she could film this thing. We doubt there is anything less than something catastrophic that would keep her from hosting the show.
BET’s signature late night talk show The Mo’Nique Show has been put on indefinite hiatus effective immediately. Though no definite details explaining the hiatus has been released, the network did issue this statement, saying:
“Mo’Nique Hicks and The Mo’Nique Show are important to the BET Networks family and we look forward to continuing our relationship with her.”
Hmm. Contract troubles? Are they trying to underpay their Oscar winner???
Or perhaps someone is trying to take their show to a bigger network. Maybe someone got a call from someone else and now she’s ready to go her OWN way. (Get it???)
Consider our interest piqued! What could be the trouble in this paradise?
