As we all know by now, former NBA star Charles Barkley was arrested in December on suspicion of drunk driving. Though he claims he was just in a hurry to get a blow job.
And that blow job has cost him a lot!!!
Barkley has already been removed from the sports desk at Turner Sports and will be off the air for a minimum of several weeks with no return date set.
Guess it didn’t help that tests showed Barkley had a blood-alcohol level of .149 at the time of his arrest, nearly twice the legal limit of .08 in Arizona.
And, now we find out that T-Mobile has dropped him as well!
The company has pulled its television commercials starring Barkley because of the drunk-driving arrest.
In a statement, T-Mobile says that “given the recent developments, for the time being, we’ve replaced TV ads featuring Mr. Barkley with more general-market advertising. As he works through his personal matters, we will evaluate where to go from here.”
Sucks for Dwyane Wade, who was also featured in the commercial.
Will anyone hire Barkley now?
