Yes it’s real and to be fair, our initial reaction was also, “WTF???”
The NAAFA organization is taking it to the streets to speak out in favor of Gabourey Sidibe’s hefty size. Sources have suggested that a weight loss company has approached the Oscar nominated actress in an effort to get her back to the “healthy” weight.
However, the NAAFA is insisting that there is nothing wrong with her size and that the Precious star is perfectly healthy. A spokeswoman for NAAFA released a statement this morning, saying:
“You cannot tell by looking at a person if they are healthy. Fat does not equal disease and thin does not equal healthy…Achievements come in all sizes.”
Quite true and Gabby certainly has accomplished a lot. We don’t think she needs any help defending herself, though. From what we have seen, girl is FIERCE and a fighter all on her own!
